The Los Angeles Chargers organization is excited to partner with Susan G. Komen Orange County as an official Race Team and announce Travis Benjamin as this year’s Honorary Race Chair. Benjamin has been named Honorary Race Chair for this year as Komen is an organization near and dear to him. Benjamin’s mother, grandmother and aunt have all battled breast cancer. Now that our training camp is based in Costa Mesa, we are all thrilled at the opportunity to do our part to help move the Komen mission forward here in our community.
Join our Chargers for the Cure Race Team to participate at the Race for the Cure on Sunday, Sept. 24th at Fashion Island in Newport Beach and receive a commemorative Komen/Chargers wristband. Anyone who raises $125 or more will be entered to win a pair of tickets to one of our 2017 home games. While we cannot attend the Race due to our game that day, we are rooting for our Race team, “Chargers for the Cure” from afar and thank you for supporting us!
Together, we are fueling the best science, boldest community and biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer. We will not stop until this disease is gone forever.
BE MORE THAN PINK and join us in this fight by participating on our Chargers for the Cure team or by making a donation today.
