Susan G. Komen Orange County is committed to being of service to people who are touched by metastatic breast cancer.
With more than 154,000 women currently living with metastatic breast cancer in the United States and approximately 1,000 in Orange County, Komen Orange County is working to create a community of patients, caregivers, and medical professionals to share new information, practical resources, and support.
In spring 2019, Komen OC and its partners will host a day-long conference to gather, engage, and provide expert information to people living with metastatic breast cancer. This conference – the first of its kind in Orange County – will cover the biology of metastatic breast cancer, advances in treatment, emerging research, new medications and clinical trials as well as address the psychological and social issues faced by patients and caregivers.
